Choreographic Haikus
DESCRIPTION
This research proposes the creation of "choreographic haikus," based on the encounter between dance and Japanese haiku poetry. Inspired by the conciseness and attention to nature characteristic of haiku, the proposal seeks to compose movements as poems, establishing a play between body and word. The work emphasizes a dramaturgy of presence, in which the body is the main expressive agent, shifting the focus from representation to the sensitive and relational experience between artist, environment, and audience.
